A: Yes, there are many GPS detectors. Active GPS units use a SIM card to send it's location to the host. This signal is the same as a cell phone (GSM, CDMA, etc.). These units can detect when GPS units send these types of signals. These units cannot detect GPS loggers. Loggers store the location inside the unit and do not send the signal out.
